Who We Are

We have solid experience in providing customers a viable alternative that is cost effective without sacrificing quality of service. Our expertise in BPO combined with the solid network, infrastructure and reputation in the industry will ensure the success of this initiative.

Since our inception, iVentures has grown to 1,200 proprietary, fault-tolerant seats in six geographic locations in the Philippines with sites in the National Capital Region (Pasig City, Makati City and Sta. Mesa, Manila), Cebu and four satellite sites in Luzon.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Arnold Bagabaldo

Founder & CEO

Arnold Bagabaldo has an MBA Degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Information Systems from Armstrong University, USA. He has extensive experience and technological expertise in setting-up and operating international voice and data networks involving traditional circuit switched systems as well as frame relay and IP based systems including 5 years as owner of Dynalink Telecom, Inc., a 214 long distance telephone carrier in the USA handling over 40 million minutes a month of phone traffic to the Philippines, more than 30% of the total voice traffic flowing into the country from the USA. As a pioneer in the BPO sector in the Philippines, he created Callworx in 2003 growing it from 16 seats to over 250 seats in less than two years before selling to The Resource Group (TRG) Philippines in 2006.

Martin Shearsmith

Chief Operating Officer

Martin Shearsmith has more than 15 years experience managing and operating contact centres across the world in such diverse geographies as India, Pakistan, South Africa and the Philippines working with some of the globe’s biggest brands. Originally from the UK, Martin has been resident in Manila since 2006 when he was appointed as interim General Manager at TRG Philippines following its acquisition of Callworx, moving on to hold executive level positions as Country Manager for National Pen Corporation and then Senior Vice President Operations at ICT Group (now Sykes).

Eric Serate

Chief Information Officer

Eric Serate has over 15 years experience in information technology, especially in systems integration, having worked at Accenture’s Offshore Solutions Center and as IT Director of The Resource Group (TRG), Philippines. He led a number of major regional projects for American International Group’s (AIG) Austral-Asia Pacific Regional Technology Center in his 6 years as its SAVP for Systems Deployment. He also had the opportunity to serve as CEO of a local ISP in 1997, turning the company from loss to profit in less than 12 months. His functional exposure covers a wide array of industries with an emphasis on the financial sector in banking and non-life insurance. Mr. Serate is an Honors graduate from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos with a degree in B.S. Computer Science.

Richard brings to iVentures a wealth of experience in managing large and small client operations with multiple lines of businessand driving bottom line performance for both client and service provider with a proven track record of success and client satisfaction at Teletech and LWS Media.
